Field King Professional Backpack Sprayer, 4 Gal
Two sprayers in one! This rugged four-gallon capacity sprayer delivers up to 150 psi to easily spray insecticides high into trees and can also deliver a continuous 25 psi spray to effectively distribute weed killers. Utilizing a NoLeak system, the internal pump won’t leak on the user and ensures safety when spraying. The leak-free cap and check valve are designed to prevent leaks through the cap. The unbreakable poly wand features an in-line filter for easy cleaning. Built for comfort, the sprayer features built-in lumbar support, a padded waist belt, a chest belt, and thick, adjustable padded shoulder straps. The handle moves for left or right pump operation. Other features include an extra long reinforced hose, a built-in carry handle, gallon graduations molded into the tank, and Viton® seals and gaskets. Includes four nozzles (adjustable brass, low volume fan tip, high volume fan tip, and foaming). One-year manufacturer’s warranty.

I have worked with hand-sprayers and backpack sprayers for nearly 50 years. I'd been buying a sprayer that cost approximately $120 and was marketed by a company that I'm very fond of for their power equipment. However, I could never get the 2nd year with their sprayer-I always had to buy a new sprayer. I found the Field King Backpack here at Forestry Suppliers about 4 years ago (perhaps 5 yrs. even) and the sprayer has never failed me.

I have used several different sprayers of this type, and I believe this is an excellent value. Not a lot of frills, but I have had no problems with it. It does not leak, and it is easy to maintain a consistent pressure. Everything works very well. I have used it for several months with no problems whatsoever. For a simple sprayer that is easy to assemble and maintain and does its job very well, this is well worth the money.

Bought this sprayer on 11 April 2012. Used it 3 times - on the third fill-up it would not pressurize. If I can't fix it I will have to return it. So far --- NOT IMPRESSED with this sprayer.
